Reflection: what I think this quote means is it’s always better to not have guilt on your back all the time and to clear it so you can feel better about yourself. For example if you steal something that doesn’t belong to you and deep down you feel that it was wrong that is your conscience telling you it’s better to so the right and give it back and face consequences.
